Ann Thompson exhibits her work nationally and has participated in prestigious craft shows such as the Smithsonian Craft show, the American Craft Exposition and the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show.

Her work was included in the exhibition “Objects for Use:Handmade by Design” at the American Craft Museum in New York city in 2002 and appears in the book by the same name edited by Paul Smith and published by Harry Abrams.

Ann was awarded an Individual Artist’s Fellowship from the Maine Arts Commission for the year 2002.
